LifeTree Ministries exists to fulfill the Great Commission (Matt. 28:19-20) through apartment ministries for the refugees in the Houston area.<\/h3>\n

Children’s ministry is\u00a0a process that connects children with Jesus and His Story<\/strong>. It’s children being transformed to be more like Jesus over the course of time. This involves a series of actions or steps that children take in order to achieve the desired end.<\/p>\n

\u201cChildren are a gift from the Lord; they are a reward from him.\u201d \u201cJesus said, ‘Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

LifeTree Ministries (LTM) is an apartment ministry for refugees where Christians work together to fulfill Christ\u2019s mandate. As a Christ-centered ministry, we seek to share the love of God and build relationships among refugee communities in the apartments in the Houston area.<\/p>\n

  • Afterschool Program<\/span><\/li>\n
  • The challenge of finishing the homework is helped by volunteers tutoring as they work together after school<\/li>\n
  • One-on-One<\/span><\/li>\n
  • TutorialIndividual academic tutorials are provided for specific needs of the students.<\/li>\n
  • VBS<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Vacation Bible School is conducted at the Los Arcos each summer<\/li>\n
  • Youth Discipleship<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Refugees\u00a0youths\u00a0have a critical need for Biblical principles in their lives. Through this program our volunteers teach how to avoid unhealthy temptations and guide them to learn social skills which will help them grow to become wholesome, responsible individuals in American society.<\/li>\n
  • ESL Class<\/span><\/li>\n
  • The refugees desperately need to learn English to find employment and adjust to a new culture. Adults ESL classes incorporate Bible stories in English lessons.<\/li>\n
  • Citizenship Class<\/span><\/li>\n
  • The refugees receive Permanent Residency Card upon arrival but do not have passports until they become citizens. LTM offers citizenship preparation class.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
